Health Insurance Open Enrollment
The 2026 Health Insurance Open Enrollment period for most state employees will be held from May 1, 2026 – May 31, 2026. Any changes made during Open Enrollment will become effective July 1, 2026.
During Open Enrollment, you may:
- change medical and/or dental plans
- add or drop coverage for your eligible family members
- enroll if you previously waived coverage
- enroll in or opt out of the Health Enhancement Program (HEP)
No action is required if you aren’t making changes; your existing coverage will automatically continue.
